UNEX: from spreadsheet post-mortems to a floor that runs itself.

UNEX builds material-handling systems in New Jersey. Their operations ran on a patchwork — pricing chaos driving a third of all support issues, stockouts discovered after the fact, board meetings run on spreadsheet exports. Over 18 months we implemented Odoo v18 end-to-end — 8 modules, 4 integrations, 215,488 records migrated — then ran it with them on AMS Silver until their own team was resolving over a third of the work without us.

01 / The situation

What was actually happening.

The same pricing root cause surfaced in March, April, and May — driving roughly 30% of all support volume. Replenishment alerts fired after stockouts, not before. Every kitted shipment generated a customer complaint because part numbers never made it to invoices and packing lists. Historical payments were crossed between vendors and customers. And the board reviewed the business on spreadsheet exports, not live data.

03 / What we shipped

The work, in motion.

Full platform build, then operate. Eight modules into production with 215,488 validated records behind them — then nine launch milestones delivered through support, each signed off by a named UNEX stakeholder, and 32 engineered enhancements that survive every version upgrade. Not patches. Permanent additions.
